Storyline
Blended (2014) follows Jim Friedman, a widowed father of three girls, and Lauren Reynolds, a divorced mother of two boys, who endure a disastrous blind date and swear never to see each other again. Fate intervenes when both families independently book the same South African family resort package and end up sharing a suite and forced family activities. As the kids begin to bond and the parents are thrown into one awkward situation after another, Jim and Lauren slowly develop a genuine connection that turns their forced vacation into an unexpected second chance at love and a blended family.
