Storyline
In "Happy Gilmore" (1996), Adam Sandler plays Happy Gilmore, a hot-headed ex-hockey player with a powerful golf swing. After discovering his grandmother is about to lose her home, Happy turns to golf, hoping to win enough money to buy the house back. His unconventional style and fiery temper quickly put him at odds with the golf establishment, particularly the pretentious pro, Shooter McGavin. Happy's journey is a hilarious clash of cultures on the golf course, complete with memorable one-liners, slapstick comedy, and an underdog story that captures the heart.
