STORYLINE

Blues Brothers (1980) is a musical comedy that follows the adventures of Jake and Elwood Blues, played by John Belushi and Dan Aykroyd, respectively. Recently released from prison, Jake reunites with his brother Elwood to save the Catholic orphanage where they were raised. To raise the necessary funds, they decide to get their old blues band back together and perform a series of gigs. Along the way, they encounter a series of hilarious and action-packed obstacles, including angry ex-band members, the police, and a vengeful ex-girlfriend. The film is known for its outstanding musical performances, featuring legendary artists such as James Brown, Aretha Franklin, and Ray Charles.
