STORYLINE
The Gods Must Be Crazy (1980) is a unique comedy that begins with a small San bushman named Xi, who finds a discarded Coca-Cola bottle thrown from a passing airplane. Unfamiliar with modern technology, Xi and his tribe believe the bottle is a gift from the gods. However, the bottle brings discord and jealousy among the tribe members, prompting Xi to journey across the desert to dispose of it. Along the way, he encounters various characters, including a bumbling scientist and a schoolteacher, leading to a series of humorous and heartwarming adventures that explore cultural differences and the clash between traditional and modern worlds.
