Storyline

Birdman (2014), also known as Birdman or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance), follows the story of Riggan Thomson, a faded Hollywood actor best known for his role as a superhero, as he attempts to revitalize his career by writing, directing, and starring in a Broadway play. As opening night approaches, Riggan grapples with his ego, family, and career while dealing with his inner voice, which manifests as Birdman, his former alter ego.
