Storyline
Black Swan (2010) follows the story of Nina Sayers, a talented and perfectionist ballerina who is cast as the lead in a New York City production of "Swan Lake." As Nina struggles to embody both the innocent White Swan and the seductive Black Swan, she becomes increasingly consumed by the pressure and competition. The arrival of a new dancer, Lily, who exudes a natural confidence and sensuality, further destabilizes Nina's mental state. As opening night approaches, Nina's grip on reality begins to unravel, leading to a harrowing descent into madness.
