➱ STORYLINE:

"Godzilla Minus One", released in 2023, takes place in Japan after World War II as the country had only just recovered from the war in the 1940s. Godzilla shows up as a new danger as the monster surfaces just off the coast of Tokyo. A war deserter, Koichi, is traumatized by his initial encounter with Godzilla and sees this peril as an avenue to redeem himself from his deserter status during the war.

"Godzilla Minus One" embodies virtually everything that Godzilla fans love, including the fact that they used the original Godzilla roar in the movie. The unique and enthralling backstory of the characters adds something special to the film as Godzilla is brought to life on the big screen. This Godzilla film will certainly become a classic new addition to the movie franchise. The special effects along with its fascinating story make this film compelling from start to finish.
