STORYLINE

Meatballs (1979) is a lighthearted summer camp comedy that follows the antics of head counselor Tripper Harrison and the campers and staff at Camp North Star. As the summer progresses, Tripper takes the shy new camper Rudy under his wing, helping him come out of his shell. Meanwhile, the camp's zany staff and enthusiastic campers prepare for the annual Olympiad competition against the snobby Camp Mohawk. Filled with pranks, humor, and heartwarming moments, Meatballs captures the spirit of summer camp and the bonds formed there.
