STORYLINE
In a future where humanity seeks to colonize the icy planet Niflheim, Mickey Barnes (Robert Pattinson) serves as an "expendable"—a disposable employee assigned to dangerous tasks. Each time he dies, a new clone is regenerated with his memories intact. After being presumed dead during a mission, Mickey 17 returns to find he's been replaced by a new iteration, Mickey 18. The two clones must navigate their existence while challenging the oppressive leadership of the colony. The film delves into themes of identity, ethics of cloning, and societal exploitation.
