Storyline
"Ruthless People" is a dark comedy film that revolves around a wealthy and despised businessman, Sam Stone, who plans to murder his wife, Barbara, for her inheritance. However, before he can act, Barbara is kidnapped by a couple who demand a large ransom. What follows is a series of comedic twists and turns, as Sam sees the kidnapping as a chance to rid himself of his wife without paying a dime.
