STORYLINE

"Stripes" is a comedy film that follows the story of John Winger, played by Bill Murray, who, after losing his job, car, apartment, and girlfriend all in one day, decides to enlist in the U.S. Army. He convinces his friend Russell Ziskey, played by Harold Ramis, to join him. The film humorously portrays their misadventures in basic training and their unexpected deployment in a top-secret military mission.
