Storyline
The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel (2012) follows a group of British retirees who decide to "outsource" their retirement to less expensive and seemingly exotic India. Enticed by advertisements for the newly restored Marigold Hotel and envisioning a life of leisure, they arrive to find the palace a shell of its former self. Despite the less-than-desirable conditions, their lives begin to intersect in unexpected ways as they embrace their new adventure. Through this journey, they discover that life and love can begin anew when they let go of the past.
