Storyline

Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery (2025) marks the return of detective Benoit Blanc (Daniel Craig) as he investigates a baffling murder inside a small-town Catholic church. When Monsignor Jefferson Wicks is found dead in a sealed concrete box during his sermon, suspicion falls on the devout congregation — and Blanc must navigate secrets, faith, and a locked-room mystery like no other.

Why It’s Our Vibe

Rian Johnson returns with a darker, more gothic whodunit that leans into atmosphere as much as puzzle-solving. The film marries sumptuous production design and razor-sharp plotting with emotionally charged performances, giving Benoit Blanc his most personal and challenging case yet. It’s clever, stylish, and full of the delicious misdirection fans expect.
