STORYLINE:

Crazy Rich Asians (2018) follows Rachel Chu, an economics professor, who travels to Singapore with her boyfriend, Nick Young, for his best friend's wedding. Unbeknownst to Rachel, Nick hails from one of the wealthiest families in Asia. Thrust into the opulent world of Singapore's elite, Rachel must navigate jealous socialites, quirky relatives, and Nick's disapproving mother, all while staying true to herself. This vibrant and heartfelt romantic comedy explores themes of love, family, and the clash between old and new worlds.
